National on 10th invites you to their establishment. Their bar is the perfect scene for after dinner drinks. They are open nightly all week. You can get there by bicycle and visit them in an area acknowledged as lively.
Food is very good, ordered the signature burger. The seating isnt very well arranged for live gigs. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were very helpful.
This semi-secret backroom is located on the second level of National on 10th. Taking a seat on the dark leather banquettes of the secluded Bourbon Room feels slightly forbidden. Brown liquor figures heavily on the booze menu, served either straight up or in carefully created cocktails.
Another rollicking rooftop, the 10th Avenue Southwest National location offers a dynamic place to hang out in a complex that features a large main beer hall area, basement bowling alley and the speakeasy-style Bourbon Room. Choose from the National’s lengthy list of beers on tap, snacks from tater tots to Swedish meatballs and meals from fish tacos and chilaquiles to macaroni carbonara and chicken with waffles.
A beer hall is probably not the first place you would think of when it comes to cheese, but all of National’s multiple locations offers a cheese board that features a variety of hard and soft cheeses served with crackers and a house-made sweet-apple chutney.
