Many Calgarians regularly pass by the Peace Bridge while travelling through the city. A relatively new bridge, it has become a focal point for artistic photographers practicing their trade. For Neil Zeller, it's his muse.
“Moving closer to the downtown core was in itself a life-changing experience,” Neil says. “For my wife and child and me, we became closer to the culture and the change-makers in the community. And because I enjoy going out at night to shoot, it has been a great source of inspiration.”
When Neil went full-time into photography in 2013, he did not expect such a large amount of positive feedback from the city and its people. “The response has been mind-blowing,” Neil says. “There is not one negative comment or criticism in the thousands of comments on my Facebook page, and that has also been inspiring.”
