    I recently got a picnic basket from A Capella Catering through an online auction. The staff were super friendly and the basket was amazing! It came with everything (including cute little wine glasses and a basket) and the food was amazing. I may just need to do another picnic in the future...

    The food arrived ...

    The food arrived over an hour late. On top of that, some of the food still needed to cook for over an hour after it arrived! Our guests were here and were already hungry. The food was also DISGUSTING! We were embarrassed to serve it to our friends. Horrible service and horrible food.

    Terrible Service

    I was planning on using this company for catering for my wedding as my friend worked for them and highly recommended them. Unfotunately they don't know the meaning of customer service. Trying to get a quote was nearly impossible, it took over 3 weeks to get a quote and then over a monh to answer one simple question (simply to find out how many meats are included). They shuttled me around to 3 different people. I probably emailed them about 30 times (which sounds like a lot but I wasn't getting any replies) and they emailed 4 times in a 6 month period. I learned later that they were having a problem with the one employee (who was later fired), however I don't feel like this is an excuse for the way I was treated. It took over 6 months just to get answers to questions that were answered in the second email with another company. I guess if you're planning your wedding years advance this might work but the service was horrible and I really wouldn't trust them again. The manager did email and appologize but only after 6 months of no answers and unbelievable frustration.

    AMAZING!

    I could not have been happier with the amazing food and impecable service that we received from A Capella. We hired them for our wedding, including a bartender. The event was small and we wanted something easy and low key... A Capella delivered! The food was amazing, and there was no shortage of it. I remember my husband and I were worrying over what to order, but I think you could order anything from these guys and it would be fantastic. I would especially recomend the Chicken Florentine as many of my guests couldn't stop talking about it! The next day they also did a small brunch service for us and the mini-quiches were thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was nothing but professional, from the very beginning. I had lots of questions about what I could expect and the staff patiently answered all of them and put my mind at ease. If I had known how the event was going to turn out, I wouldn't have worried at all! The staff could not do enough for us, they stayed late, packed up the food (yes, for us to take home!), and did lots of extras... At one point the event bar tender noticed that the back of my dress was untied, so she stopped me, pulled me into the kitchen, fixed me up and sent me on my way! And that was just one of many - they did a hundred other little things that were not specifically requested. They simply saw something that needed to be done, and took the initiative to help out. It made the day run smoothly, and it was completely stress free. I would highly recommend A Capella to anyone that is looking for excellent food and professional service.

    Best Service Guarantee and Excellent Cost!

    Professional right from the beginning. My wedding was on October 10, 2010. A Cappella came with me to the venue to a site check and to make sure I had all my bases covered. They increased my numbers at the last possible minute. Food was Awesome! Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings & a late lunch. Left over food was packaged and the staff informed me as to where it was. They even put out the late lunch for me as I forgot to. Everyone at my Wedding was raving about the staff and the food. My guests were about 90% Military, and they piled the food on thier plates, there definatly was enough to go around. Will be definataly recommending A Cappella to anyone who asks, and all my guests to this day still talk about the food. That's how amazig it was.     disappointment

    I hired this caterer for my wedding as I wanted a BBQ meal. there food was great I can not deny that but that is where it ends!! My guests were standing in line waiting for food and when I went back to see what the hold up was they were BBQing themselves a pizza instead of my guests meal. The professionally attired staff they have show up in sweat pants and high top running shoes, my idea was a little different of professional dress. If you do use them do not pay for any extrras even if you do have containers for extra food as they take everything but the salad home with them. When you complain about the service no one cares or even has the decency to get back to you. I have used many other catering companies and will continue to do so , but this will not be one of them.!

    A Cappella Catering has garnered a reputation for being easy to work with. We are committed to continuing to provide our customer with superior value based on excellent food and service. We ask that you take a look at our website and get a sense of our food and services. We also have some wonderful feedback from our clients and great photos. We believe that we are a fair company and feel we handled this client’s concerns in a professional manner. In the end, we felt that he was walking away satisfied. The client fails to mention that in the end, they did walk away happy with the refund given as well as an explanation as to what happened. They are also failing to mention how impressed they were with our supervisor on site and our bartender. When they were in the office following the event they raved about the two of them. We are not denying that mistakes were made. The time that they did not hear from us was time in which we took to discuss the concerns with the staff on shift. We do this to understand exactly what happened throughout the event. Staff are entitled to a “break” when appropriate. Staff used the BBQ to heat their food chose a poor time to take a break. We hold a high standard for the uniforms worn on site. Uniforms are sourced through a reputable suit shop and are dry-cleaned professionally. The staff member in question was a last minute fill in for another staff who fell ill. Instead of running the shift one server short and risking the quality of service, we did what we thought would rectify the situation. We do not charge for leftovers. All clients are free to take any or all leftover food. As explained to this client, during his event, the guests were helping themselves to the leftovers as they passed through the kitchen. When this was explained to him following the event he understood and was thankful.
