Headquartered in Edmonton, the Alberta Federation of Labour is a voluntary association of unions and employee organizations that has fought to improve conditions for workers, their families and communities since 1912.

In our early years, the Alberta Federation of Labour waged such wars as those to end child labour and to establish occupational health and safety regulations.
