I would much prefer to give these folks a big fat 0 stars, terrible customer service skills, zero people skills, and they don’t have the slightest clue how to do their jobs properly. 3 times in the last year I have been to this location to renew licence, renew registration, register a new car and not once have they got it right on the first try. Steer clear of this place at all costs … nothing but headaches and ignorant staff

I went to this registry for my class 5 road tests. At first, I was so disappointed after failing twice but I realized that for every failure I made I learnt something. This made me decide to keep going no matter what and how long it takes. Besides, it has to do with age, too. Finally, at the Nth time, I passed! Kudos to my three examiners- Ricky, Lisa and Vicky for showing professionalism and giving what one deserves. Keep it up!!!!

Best driver's experience I've ever had! I was super nervous but my tester, Lisa, was super nice and she made me feel so comfortable. She was by far the best tester I've ever had and I would definitely recommend this registry.

I just passed my class 5 road test today and couldn’t stop myself from sharing my experience. I was quite nervous before starting the road test, the examiner (Ricky) observed it and suggested me to take a minute to calm down. He made sure the instructions were loud and clear to me ahead of time. Even after completing the road test he spent 2-3 min. on explaining the deducted points and asked me to take care of those errors while driving in future. The Registry staff and owner were really polite

went there to take Written test for motorcycle and fund that the questions are worded in a way to make you fail. the person first was very rude on telling me that my phone needed to be off. Secondly she hovered over me during the entire test and I could not concentrate due to her insecurity. I do not recommend this place at all , avoid it like a plague please go to a registry with honest and trustworthy people.

They didn’t updated my new address and endup paying more than what i got the ticket for due to never received my tickets by mail. $320 its not a small amount worst registry never going back there.

I signed up for my non GDL road test. Gamdur was very reassuring and gave straightforward instructions. I recommend going to this registry.

I came into take my Advanced 5 Road test. The staff were very helpful and my driving instructor Gamdur was very patient with my progress. Overall I highly recommend going to Capilano Registry.

Avoid this registry at all costs. Their lack of integrity and deceptive tactics is cause for concern that they are ripping off more people than just me. The agent who works here lied and performed a service that I did not require in order to charge me double the service fees. Of course they refused to refund me after multiple attempts to rectify the situation. This place is a scam, use another registry that employs honest people.

One of the best road test I had even know I failed first time but he took time and out explained to me what I did wrong and what I need to do to improve my self so I don’t make mistake like that anymore more thank you @gamdur

The staff are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They ensure they provide the best service to every person who walks in the door. Definitely worth checking out... and they're open on Saturdays too!

Lousy Service , Rude Staff, Long Waiting Times

Lousy Customer Service Rude Staff and Long waiting Times.This is a terrible place with Very Poor Customer Service

I had to use this place as it is close to home. I had to come twice this week and both times the staff were un happy, didn't look at me/us when they were speaking which was so low we couldn't hear. They looked like we were bothering them with our business. Terrible customer service. I DO NOT recommend coming here.

The driver testin...

The driver testing instructor Gadmur has you stop at the 3-way stop where one stop sign is knocked over and missing, so if you wait for a vehicle stopped at that missing stop sign, 10 points off. Then he has you in the left lane in heavy traffic, orders you to make a right turn 2 lanes over while there are cars stopped at a red light ahead, and takes off points for not making the right turn when it was not safe. Finally, he fails you for slowing in a school zone that doesn't have s.z. signs.

Driver Road testi...

Driver Road testing at Capilano Registry, they fail you first time no matter what...but then the second time you miraculously pass.This has happened to us twice, and have heard the same story from some of our friends. How could everyone be failing first time?? That test costs $77 per time...oh I get it!! Would not recommend.

My driving instru...

My driving instructor Gadmur was rude, and didn't try to help me at all. I didn't pass my driving test but that is not why I'm writing this review. I have had friends that have had an instructor that at the end of the exam, they would try to correct their errors and make then better drivers. Gadmur failed me and didn't even give me a reason. He just wanted to go on break. DO NOT USE THIS REGISTRY FOR A DRIVING TEST!

These people know...

These people know what they are doing! Well organized, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. The office is bright and clean and they have desks so you don't have to stand. It's the best registry out there. Open convenient hours to suit your needs!

Very disorganized...

Very disorganized- people didn't know what they were doing and ignored me when I first came in. Also, their examiners are horrible. Don't ever go to this registry.
