Since 2006, Jessi Love has been involved in the world of makeup and lashes. Throughout her time working as a freelance makeup artist and eyelash technician in Vancouver's Yaletown, she couldn't stop thinking about the most creative and innovative ways to build a custom lash business. This ambition eventually led her from her work as an eyelash professional to owning her own salon.
“I’ve always wanted to be my own boss,” Jessi says. “When my husband and I decided to move to Edmonton, I already had clients that followed me from Yaletown.”
In 2010, Jessi opened L. Lash Bar and already has plans for worldwide recognition in the works: “2014 saw us launch Lash Line Academy, which travels around the world to teach salons and professionals the best methods and practices for eyelashes.”
