Doc Morgan's has been the most popular Pub & Restaurant on Bowen Island for more than 30 years, providing customers with the freshest local ingredients.
Very Very disappointed in this restaurant. The server was good, the hostess was slow and non existent for a period of time. The beef dip bun was so dry you couldn't eat it and the only part of the fish and chips that was edible was the actual fish and the chips. Gagged on the Cole slaw - it was bad and the fish crust tasted like Elmer's glue. Went home hungry. Great view from then patio, but never eating here again.
A two-piecer here may require a bit more effort on your part, but make a day of it on Bowen Island visiting local artisans, kayaking or climbing Mount Gardner and reward yourself with large pieces of beer-battered cod and a massive platter of chips with coleslaw. Wash it down with a beer from Howe Sound Brewing and look out to the glistening waters of the beer’s namesake. This is worth the ferry ride across the Sound.
