Horrible horrible experience, I would not recommend BigBoysToys to anyone. We paid a lot of money for a fifth wheel and it was nothing but a piece of broken down crap. The electrical was gone, the plumbing was bad, windows seals needed to be replaced, the vaccun did not work, there is a water valve leaking, the fridge needs a new cooling system and there is a leak in the roof, and we bought it just 10 months ago. Also it had not been cleaned.We would not recommend BigBoysToys to anyone. Terrible
There is no after sales service. We purchased a 60.000 dollar r.v. and wanted them to replace a rusty pin. Seams like a simple request but there service manager told us it was not possible. This pin secures the steps in the travel position. The effort to help us with this issue was very poor and dishonest. If you are looking for after sale service buy your r.v. elsewhere.The pin is attached with a simple bolt and wire,so not rocket science.
My wife and I dropped by the store to have a look around on Sunday September 17, 3:00 pm ish. We asked the salesman seated in at the front door if we could have a look at the motor home situated in the lot out front, after reluctantly prying his eyes off his phone he said "not unless you've got $225,000.00 to spend on a used motor home". The truth is we can afford to buy any RV they have in their inventory but for him to assume that I couldn't was insulting and extremely short sighted.
BigBoys are more than happy to take your money when buying a new unit. If you need warranty work you will see a different side. Service department treats you like idiots or rolls their eyes if they even acknowledge you at all. Forget about them calling you to get your unit when it is done either if they even bother to fix it. I am sure they would rather leave a unit to rust away on the lot rather than pick up a phone.
This business is happy to take your money if you want an new RV, however if anything has to be repaired under warranty don't expect the same service level. Parts department will ignore you as you walk in for as long as possible and when they do acknowledge you expect a sour demeanour accompanied by an eye roll or two. If they do fix your issue do not expect a call letting you know that your vehicle is ready either. It is almost funny seeing how long they will let a completed job sit in their lot
When it comes to buying an RV, these guys are the BEST!! Steve was our salesman and he took such good care of us, total VIP service. Larry the finance guy and the entire service team are absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much to the staff at Big Boy's Toys... we love our 2015 Arctic Fox!

My wife and I just bought our first travel trailer from Big Boys Toys Ltd. and we couldn't be happier with the experience. There are many RV dealerships to choose from on Vancouver Island but after visiting almost all of them looking at trailers the last few months I can honestly say that Big Boys Toys Ltd was the best. Overall it was an excellent experience and we're looking forward to using our new trailer!
