By far the worst Fish and Chips I have ever had in the city of Victoria in 62 Years!!! The fish was Soggy as well as the chips! Definatly under cooked! The boy cooking them looked like he was 16 at max!!! Ive had frozen Highliner dinners that tasted better!!
Batter light and not greasy at all. We had the halibut captains plate. Halibut was fresh, white and very lovely light flavor. Service was excellent. This was our first time here and it will not be our last. Your loss if you don't give it a try!
We tried fish 'n chips @ Salty's - the Craigflower location sometime ago. We were disappointed in how greasy our meal was. Chips were not hot. Maybe they should change the grease more often.
A popular franchised fish and chips restaurant, Salty's has locations in Victoria, Sidney and Duncan. From traditional haddock and chips to panko shrimp and breaded oysters, all of your favourite seafaring foods are here as well as burgers and chicken tenders for the landlubbers. It’s licensed to serve so grown-ups can enjoy a cold beer with their hot food and there’s a separate children’s menu for the tykes.
