Established in 1984 in Blue Ridge, Georgia by Kim Haight, Studio 1 has been providing quality dance and performing arts instruction to students of all ages and dance level. The abilities of each dancer are nurtured in an atmosphere of positive motivation, self discipline, and individual attention.Kim is a former Atlanta Hawks dancer, choreographer, and teacher of 26 years. Her students have appeared on Ed McMahan's Star Search, in the 1996 Olympic Opening Ceremonies, NBA halftime shows, the 1999 and 2003 Fed Ex Orange Bowl, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Disney World in Orlando, Florida. They have also obtained a wide variety ofdance awards ranging from choreography awards to national titles.
