These guys got me out of a jam 2 times this year. Great service and great owner who is personable and ensured I had transportation home after dropping of my car. Big step up from experiences I had in Brampton.

We have been taking our cars to Burlington Auto Service for over 10 years. I have always been happy with the service provided and any issues have been dealt with promptly and professionally. Since taking over the shop, Cheddie has always been upfront and honest, clearly describing any work that needed to be done, and what could be safely be deferred to a future visit. When we bring the cars for service, I am always confident that only necessary work will be performed. Overall - great shop!
I took my car in a while ago because I thought something might be leaking because I could smell gasoline in the back of my car. When Cheddie hoisted my car up on the lift he brought me into the garage to show me that my fuel line had rusted significantly and that it would need to be replaced. I needed a rental car in the meantime which he took care of with the rental car company which is in the same plaza. The location was very convenient for me also since it is so close to my work and the rental car company is right there. I really liked how Cheddie takes the time to show me things like the rusted fuel line or explain to me what's going on in my car by showing me pictures or showing me the actual parts when he can. He's a mechanic who really cares about his customers and I know my car is in good hands when I take it to Burlington Auto Services!
March 6, 2012 I took my Mazda in for an oil change on my way to work. Near the end of day I called Burlington Auto Service to see if my car was ready. The tecnician said he would have Chetty call me back. I asked if there was a problem and he said Chetty would talk to me. I did not get a call back before 4:30 so I went anyway. I was told that my rear brakes would need replacing soon. That was the only issue. My was parked far away from the Burlington Auto Service door. It was parked so I was not able to see the front of the car when I got in. At home I immediate saw the damaged Bug Guard. It had a piece broken off and glued together. I called Chetty at Burlington Auto Service and asked him what happened. He said he would call me first thing the next morning as his tech had gone home. I waited patiently for his call but at 1:30PM I still had not heard so I called. He confirmed they had broken the part and glued it but no appology. He had a terrible attitude and made me feel like I had done something wrong. He told me to source out a new part to which I said Burlington Auto Service should find the part as they broke it. I told him that I was very upset that they had been deceitful. It is now a week and a half later and I have called Burlington Auto numerous times with no results. A few minutes ago on my latest attempt to have this resolved, Chetty hung up on me. He said he is leaving for vacation for a week and would deal with it on his return as he did not like MY attitude. I know that Burlington Auto Service thought I would not see the damage and tried to cover it up I was not upset that the guard was broken, but I was extremely upset by their attitude. What happen to customer service? This is an item that you can see in plain site. What would happen if they broke off a part that you can't see? It terrifies me to think. I would never use or recommend Burlington Auto Service again and who knows if I will ever get the Bug Shield replaced.
One of the biggest fears for women is being taken advantage of by mechanics. Burlington Auto Service on Harvester Road in Burlington, is one of those places! My co-worker was referred to their shop for an oil change. She got much more than that! They broke her bug sheild off of her car and then tried to glue it back together...the worst part: They didn't even tell her! It wasn't until she got home, that she realized what had happened. She called that day and spoke with the owner, Chetty, who said he would look into this and get back to her the next AM. By 1:00pm she still had not heard from him, so she called him. Chetty admitted that his mechanic broke the bug sheild and asked her to source the part and he would fix it. Why should she source the part for his error? Regardless, she asked if he could do this, as she does not have any contacts in the industry. He said he would - and would call her back. I have witnessed SEVERAL phone calls that have gone unreturned. We ended up going across the street from his shop - to the Mazda dealership - and found the part for only $69+$30 to install. She called to give them this information and they still had NO TIME for her. I don't understand how businesses like this can stay in operation in 2012. They should be held accountable for their actions. This is still unresolved! Burlington Auto Service needs to do the right thing here and fix what they broke. I would never recommend this shop to anyone but an enemy!
