Over half hour wait worst cab company ever
Requested a handicap van for my grandfather for his appointment this morning. I received a call from Burlington taxi this morning saying they could no longer pick us up from the hospital and that there was nothing they could do. When I asked to be credited I was laughed and yelled at for not understand a “human error” even though the dispatch would have HAD to check on the computer to see if the time slot was free.. which it was at the time. WORST COMPANY.
Horrible service! They left my 82year old mother, and 86 year old Aunt, waiting for over 2 hours for a taxi, at Mapleview centre. The nice people at shoppers called Burlington taxi 3 times, and were told each time they would be there in 15 minutes. They were finally able to reach me, and I picked them. I called Burlington taxi and was told, they went to the wrong entrance, and went back to the correct entrance twice, and no one was there.
Out of 3 years there was only one driver I did not like. Do you know you can ask not ever to have that driver again? A great idea and they follow through.I also had a pay monthly account which made things a lot easier for a senior.
Horrible service! Don't bother calling them because they won't come. My daughter travelled ALL evening from Ottawa to Burlington by bus, knowing there were no more buses for the rest of her trip home. "Just take a cab," I said. She waited for an hour and twenty minutes, calling every 20-30 minutes. The guy on the phone said the cab had come and gone "because no one was there." Liar! No cars pulled in at all. I had to make it for the 4:34 PM GO Train so that I could make my VIA train. I called for a cab at 3:42 PM. I called again at 3:55 PM to find out roughly how much longer it would be. By 4:02, with still no cab, I finally decided to just drive myself. Burlington Taxi called me at 4:38 PM. This means not only would I have missed my GO Train (and therefore my VIA Train), but I would have been waiting for nearly an hour. Horrible.
