Rose and Angie go above and beyond for you in finding the perfect gift for your loved ones. Today I went to get a birthday gift for my husband who will be 60. Rose found the perfect gift, and Angie took the time to inscribe the special message I wanted on the gift. I cried tears of joy when I saw how beautifully it was done. I have shopped at the Upper James location for many years and love it so much. This store offers a great range of products. The customer service is excellent and the owners are very accommodating. Would recommend it to everyone!!!! Also, I disagree with the comment left below because the owners are very accommodating with returns as long as it is within a reasonable time frame and the items are not used.

I went into this ...

I went into this store today to have a look as it has been a while since I'd gone into the store last. Now I know WHY!! The store owner is just crazy! As I'm waiting to pay for the items I picked up, I witnessed her asking an employee to empty her pockets to make sure she didn't have any stolen goods and when satisfied sent her on her way in the most demeaning way possible! I was just appalled. Right in front of me!! She was talking down to all the employees in the store and was just plain rude. I had my 3 yr old with me and when I went to the front door to show her where my car was, about a meter away from the front counter I was at, she asked my son to "go with your mom now", as if she was afraid he was going to touch something. Then started demeaning ME, when she didn't like how I was putting MY payed for products in MY car! I give this business a below zero for professionalism. Organization could have been better, and price tags on items would help. I could go on. Buyer beware before purchasing from this shop. There are no actual policies. Just whatever the owner makes up at that time. Her return policy, when I asked- was " well how long do you need?" Lol No further comments. I'm sure you get the pic. Want fabulous souvenirs, and good service- go to Vintage & Memories - don't waste your time here
