I am at a loss to understand why the plastic bag in which tomatoes on the vine are sold can be labelled environmentally friendly packaging. I happen to live in a place where plastic bags cannot be recycled. And besides, studies show that only about 14% of plastic is recycled at all! Perhaps someone could explain this to me.
