Amazing food

I visit Chauhan last Saturday around 7 pm where we were only 2 however within 20 mins it was full. food was just awesome , I had Tandoori chicken with best hot Roti and my partner had Daal makhni and Veg beryani. Everything was fresh and hot. We loved it . I do recommend this restaurant in markham and T,O area.

The only reason I gave them two stars is because their naan is really good. Everything else tasted the same, oily and generic. The workers looked like they couldn't be bothered to smile or actually be polite.

Recycled oil!!

Surprised and shocked. Pakoras were smelling. They were re-fried with old, used, dirty oil. Had no choice, kids were very hungry. We dine here frequently and this was our first bad experience. Will visit again real soon to see how they are doing.

Average Indian

I've been to a lot of Indian Buffets, some bad, some good. This one was just plain average. The food was OK... but just OK. I can't comment on the service as I had the buffet. I'll go if someone wants to go there on purpose, otherwise there are many better choices in Markham.

The food was horrible. Not much variety and most of the trays were almost empty. I would not go back again. Feel sorry for the waiters coz they were pretty good with their service.

I found the food was tasty. My biggest beef was the service - just plain slow, especially when there might have been only one or two other tables occupied. I have used their take out service and even phoning ahead with the order, still had to stand there waiting for at least 30 - 45 minutes. The staff seemed oblivious to us standing there waiting so when asked how much longer - felt I was being brushed off. I would still recommend them because of the food and the generous portions.

It was awful this afternoon, usually, it is not that bad. There was no meat in the goat curry, no tandoori, nothing. I went up and told the mgmt, what kind of buffet is this, no food at all. They told me, they were short staff, that is not an excuse. Then we get raw tandoori chicken! Yuks!
