This was a few years ago but I took my 1940s wall clock in as it wouldnt run. Checked for updates monthly and no work had been done but would get to it shortly. NINE months later I gave up and got it back and took it to another repair shop.

I've had Mr. Jolie repair three things for me - a stopwatch, a pocket watch and a wristwatch. The cost of the repairs was extremely reasonable and way less than taking it to a jeweller. He is an old-school artisan in the true sense of the word. Strongly recommend him to anyone in need of a time piece repair.
