Best fish and chips in town by far. Great selection of single malts and draft beer. They just recently did some renovations. Looks great!!! This pub has another regular customer. Thanks

Great Pub

I visit the Arms regularly with my team because we play in the area. Unfortunately I don't live close so it's hard to make it more than once every few weeks. The wings are very good and the fact they come with fries on the bottom is a great touch. The service is friendly and personable. I highly recommend the Arms to anyone. I would suggest though that families with young children not visit later in the evening, some of the regulars are a little too much sometimes.

The steak came smothered in mushrooms, onions and gravy. It was nice and flavourful, and the vegetables (string beans) were nicely done - not cooked to death like some places! The mashed potatoes were..well, mashed potatoes. I really enjoyed their gravy. The service was good, and the place was almost entirely empty when I was there. A very relaxed, pub atmosphere. I'd definitely go again if I'm in the area, but I'm not going to go out of my way to do so. All in all, above average food, and decent service.

Great atmosphere for the avg family...

Great atmosphere for the avg family outing...great time for after work drinks. Very friendly place where everyone knows your name!?! Sorry that's been done already but you get the idea.
