Visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday afternoon after driving by several times and not even realizing that it was really there (found it on restaurantica). We all shared a bunch of appetizers which were all great (huge portions so we took a lot of food home) and then my husband and I split the clubhouse and a burger. The burger was the best that I had ever had, and the clubhouse was great. I was with a party of 5 and we were all totally shocked by the huge portions that we received. The service was extremely friendly and speedy and we were made to feel like we were right at home. The server even wrote out a list of their daily specials for us so that we would know for the next time we came back. The place was super busy and I can see why. I have a feeling that this will turn into our new local spot for dinner and drinks. Great atmosphere with cliental that seemed to be from toddler right through to the elderly and prices are extremely reasonable.. for all of the food we ordered it probably would have cost double anywhere else!
The hot / suicide chicken wings I ordered were bland and flavourless. They were ready on time as promised though.
Co-workers re-assured me that they often vary in flavour so I will probably try them again.
Really nothing special at all, its a little hole in the wall, closet like pub. bad seating, and slow service the food was nothing more then ok. Locals seem to keep the place going.
Delicious wings!!! We started with the nachos and, wow, did not expect the mountain of delicious toppings that came with! We expected a skimpy portion but almost couldn't finish! The bar is very cozy as well with nice, big televisions to watch the game on!
We all shared the food because we could not make up are minds LOL. The perogies are to die for and the wings are breaded and fantastic, nachos super filling and wrap was great also. It was AWESOME. The atmosphere is great, big screen tvs and music. Service was fantasic. Everything was great. You get your moneys worth here and you don't find that at a lot of places these days,
We strongly recommend the loaded garlic bread.....with the hot peppers. It was delicious and we will order it every time we go now. The wings are probably the best we have ever tried. Hats off to the owners as they have great people working for them both behind the bar and in the kitchen!!
We hope to go back sooner rather than later....it is worth the 2 hour trip!
We're there almost every saturday night and Kathleen is the best waitress i have ever had at any restaurant. She gives me options, which is great to have at any restaurant. She's great to all her customers. I have recomended this restaurant to everyone i know. Great food, great atmosphere and great prices. You get alot too. I'm always taking leftovers home...lol. Gotta love those Leaf games on the big screen too..lol. Great job Chuggies...Kat
