Comprehensive eye examinations emphasizing ocular health evaluation. We use state of the art technology that includes Optomap Ultra-Wide Digital Imaging. Each image provides a panoramic view of the back of the eye, the retina, that is greater than 200 degrees, compared to only 45 degrees with other technology. The retina is susceptible to a variety of diseases and it is essential to catch any problem early to avoid significant vision loss. There is no pain or discomfort and the procedure is safe for people of all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens, including pregnant women. Often dilating drops are not required and the image is taken in less than a second! Optical Coherence Tomography scan (or OCT scan) at our Westmount Avenue location.
