Ample parking, long business hours, open all year round, including holidays, Christmas, New Years, etc, air conditioning, low, low prices on drinks and snacks, water fountain, showers, regular maintenance/replacement of ropes, draws, grigris, exciting climbs, padded floor throughout, nice staff, community friendly, generous owner, professional management, good customer service, open and spacious, and tons of climbing for all ages and levels!
I have bought a 10 pas at True North when they first opened as it was closer for me to climb. Upon buying the 10 pass back in April at no point did they indicate that the 10 pass expires after one year. I have moved residences 3 times, moved jobs twice and had a baby boy in Auguest so to say i was busy would be an understatement. Had I know this pass expires after 1 year I would have made more of an effort to use it. After speaking with "John" the owner of True north he is not will to allow me to use the 6 more visits left on my pass despite the fact that his staff neglected to advise me that there was an expiry date on the pass. He offered me a discount on another 10 pass which made me feel like all he wants is my money and cares very little about customer service. Although the facility its self is nice and spacious it is very hard to get to by vehicle or TTC. I would not recommend this gym as the customer service goes down hill once they have your money!!!

I feel this review is a little misleading. It may be true that during our early months we were not perfect at alerting customers that the 10-visit pass expires after a year. However I believe that every customer who complained about their pass expiring (and that was about a half dozen out of hundreds sold) was in the end satisfied by our offer to extend their pass for an additional 3 months beyond its original expiry date. Keeping our customers happy is very important to us, as word of mouth is our best form of advertising (and it is working well for us). We want to have regular climbers coming back time after time, loving every visit, and telling their friends and family. John Gross Owner, True North Climbing

Variety and challenges are the two things you’ll notice first, as this climbing spot has 51 top ropes soaring up to 36 feet high, 15 lead-only routes, two slacklines and more than 150 different boulder problems. It’s safe to say that even if you climbed every day here, you’d never see the same thing twice. But, if you ever get bored, they also have classes and programs, where you can challenge yourself even more.
