In 2016, this small cozy cafe opened in the "Main" building at 195 East Main in Welland. Originally the cafe was created to be a "Pop Up Shop" serving products from Above and Beyond Cupcakes, however with its success of the cafe growing within the first few weeks of opening, after 4.5 years of business Above and Beyond Cupcakes business partners Ryan and Stacey decided to part ways. This created opportunity to bring on Ryan as the head baker/cake designer and Manager for The Main Cafe.
?With the original outlook the bakery had on products, The Main Cafe continues to run as a "Clean Label Cafe/Bakery" (no Chemicals, Preservatives, or Artificial Flavors) and a Peanut and Tree nut Free Facility. Having experience over the years with working with several allergies, also provided will be "allergy aware" products (gluten, dairy, egg, soy, sesame free) on specified days and to order.
