I was looking for a good fish and chips place and this place wasnt terrible but i just didnt like it... The batter on the fish was falling apart as i was trying to cut the fish and the waitress forgot to bring my drinks untill my meal came out so.. It wasnt a fantastic experience for me. I probably would not be going back.
My husband and I first went to Stanley's Fish and Chips for dinner wanting to try a different fish and chip restaurant.We loved the cozy atmosphere..the fireplace,the friendly and polite waitress and fast service.Now..all of our family goes to Stanley's every week.We love the food..milkshakes are great..everything is.We always ask for the same waitress Samantha...and are willing to wait to be seated in her section which she takes care of fast by adding tables as she's so friendly..always smiling and cheerful and she gives us 100% great service.
Treat yourself and go to Stanley's Fish and Chips in Brooklin you won't be sorry :)
Absolutely without a doubt Stanley's is the best Fish & Chips ever. My husband and son are very picky about their fish & chips. They love Stanley's. One thing you will not get from Stanley's, is that horrid greasy feeling in your mouth or on your lips. They are not greasy! I find that fish and chips cause me a bit of heartburn but I have yet to have heartburn from Stanley's fish & chips. The service has been wonderful all 5 times we have been there. Once our order is taken we are served within 10 minutes. Again, the BEST fish & chips ever!!
FINALLY!! AMAZING fish & chips! Great Greek salad.. very fresh. My friend LOVED the coleslaw. My son ordered a milkshake... like going back in time.... the real milkshake in a tin. The atmosphere is extremely comfortable... fireplace, booths, lots of room & very clean!!! No complaints here... We'll be back.
