The lemon dessert is actually a pistachio mousse ... we were lucky to notice it before eating it because someone at the table was allergic to it. A bit Noisy though but food is excellent ! Nice ambiance and frankly very nice price for a meal, plates are quite big. Ratio quality-price is great ! I recommend !

I thought it was ...

I thought it was a good bring your own wine place. As noisy as a bistro, good range if selections on the menu, fair price, not so keen on some mixtures experimented, good, respectful and fast service. Easy parking 30 metres from entrance.

A Bring Your Own Wine restaurant that just celebrated its second year in business, Dur à cuire resembles a Parisian bistro in both its decor and its menu. Foie gras appears in several dishes and the chalkboard menu may include homemade blood sausage, veal kidneys or risotto with snails. Other dishes, like Matane shrimp or beef short ribs, will remind you that you are in Quebec. The atmosphere is lively in the evening, and their warm, homemade bread rolls add a delicious touch.
