Very honest and very good for the price. You don't go there for a diner obviously for the cafeteria style but for a lunch, it's the best 15$ for fresh pastas on custom choosed sauce :)
We usually consider good spaghetti to be priced for more than $10, but this is different at the Popessa. For $7-$8, you can have some tasty spaghetti that is better than many restaurants out there.
