La Jardinière Bessette was founded in 1953. From a small door-to-door business, it quickly developed into a roadside kiosque at Jacques-Cartier South in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Each year, we open our doors in May and close in October. We start production in January and produce annually about 5,000 hanging floral arrangements, 8000 boxes of flowers, 1500 jars of tomatoes and 30,000 pots of geraniums. Production takes place in our greenhouse complex which now is now about 12 in total. We have a splendid stand of fruits and vegetables which also opens its doors in May.
