Our Optometrists
Glen Chiasson
Dr. Glen Chiasson is a 1995 graduate of the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. He graduated with honor's and was the recipient of the Bausch & Lomb Excellence in Contact Lens award. His training includes a rigorous rotation at the JFK hospital in Philadelphia. Along with providing primary eye care, Dr. Chiasson actively co-manages patients for laser vision correction, cataract, and other surgical procedures. He has participated in studies for contact lenses and contact lens solutions and has consulted with corporations on eye care topics. He has appeared on television and in print media discussing vision and ocular health. He is currently the host of “Eyes Wide Open”, a podcast aimed at presenting new technologies and services for optometrists and is a moderator of the Canadian Optometry Group, an email forum for Canadian optometrists. Dr. Chiasson enjoys tennis, hockey, golf, and reading. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two sons.
Christina Vesco
Dr. Christina Vesco completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo and graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry in 2012. She then completed a six-month placement at the Bascom Palmer Institute for Ocular Disease in Miami. Specializing in myopia control, orthokeratology, and dry eye management, Dr. Vesco is passionate about how eye health directly impacts overall health. She is a proud mother to two children and when she’s not working, enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and cooking.
Jessalyn Wong
Dr. Jessalyn Wong has a strong passion for providing top-tier optometric care to others in the community. Her interest in this field was nurtured when she volunteered for a medical mission trip to Kenya in 2015, where she assisted the lead optometrist in providing eye care to the local population. Dr. Wong graduated from McMaster University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She then pursued her studies at the University of Waterloo's Doctor of Optometry program, where she completed an ocular disease clerkship at the Eye Associates of Pinellas in Florida. Her family has a history of various eye conditions, which has driven her to conduct in-depth research on the different factors that influence eye health. She believes in providing personalized care and educating patients on preventive measures to maintain optimal eye health. Outside the office, Dr. Wong enjoys spending her leisure time reading, playing guitar, hiking, and sampling different cuisines at local eateries with friends and family.
