You can party at proper Irish pubs, popular beer halls and your neighbourhood hangout – there will be no shortage of Guinness or green beer this year. Mill Street is having a St. Patrick’s Day Brewmaster’s dinner hosted by Joel Manning with an Irish-themed five-course dinner (with beer pairings), plus live music. The event is March 16, 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
This pub offers $4 Bushmills or Baileys and $7.50 pints of Guinness for St. Patrick’s Day March 14 to 16. The main party starts at 4 p.m. March 17, with live music, Guinness and whisky. There’s also a recovery brunch starting at 10:30 a.m. March 18 and 19.
The pub serves up beer and whisky all day March 17, with shows from the Price Brothers at 5 p.m. and Mere Mortals at 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The St. Paddy’s Shamrock Shaker party promises to combine the luck of the Irish with a little country twang. You can drink green beer, ride the mechanical bull and join the dance party with DJ Moonshine. Drink specials: $4.75 green brews and $6 shamrock shooters. The event is March 17 from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tickets are $14 at the door.
The Gormley Brothers kick things off at 4 p.m., then DJ Wizdome spins from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. The shenanigans include perfectly poured Guinness and party eats. St. Patrick’s Day revelers are welcome starting at 11 a.m. March 17.
St. Patrick’s Day continues into the weekend with a party at Amsterdam BrewHouse. Expect a live band, vide DJ battles, a fiddler, free pancake breakfast, barbecue, pizza and more. Tickets are available in advance. The event is Saturday, March 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
