Went for their second night of opening. loved the menu selection. You could order different sizes of appetizers and meals. Had the Crab cakes and Black cod, my husband had the mushroom soup and steak, the food was flawless, the service was quick and attentive. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and took a chance trying this restaurant for the first time. We were pleasantly suprised and absoloutely loved the experience. We ordered the Peppercorn Shrimp appetizer and the Roesti with Smolked Salmon. Delicious and plenty to share. We then ordered the Shrimp Pasta and the Hunter Schnitzel. The food is really outstanding!! best schnitzel I've ever had!! Super value. The service was extremely professional and very attentive and pleasant. At the end we ordered the Creme Brule and what an excellent finishing touch to a great meal. The ambiance in the restaurant is very inviting and romantic. This restaurant created a very pleasant and appealing atmosphere. I was pleased with the warm welcoming received upon arrival. The place has been on Locke for years and every visit I have had only the best service. The staff are very accommodating and deal well with any request you may have. The Beasley House has a very warm and comfortable feeling as the dinning area only seats around 30 people. The menu offers a vast array of options and will suit the need of any type of customer. Anywhere from seafood and steak to hamburgers and fries, which is really helpful when dining with a larger, different group of people. The restaurant is especially appealing to me in the summer time as I spend a lot of time on Hamilton's trendy Locke street and the Beasley House is the only one with a patio??!!! Great place for lunch, as the owner always provides exceptional service, and never rushes you ! Overall, my experience was great and I would definitely recommend and return!! Read more

I will come back as there was nothing wrong with the food... a tad pricey for sandwiches! The only thing I did not like was when deciding on a beverage the waitress noticed that my husband and I were unsure of the bottles on the counter and being new there we didnt realize there was a fountain drink machine on the other side of the counter... the waitress however did not mention that either and we ended up paying 8$ for 2 ridiculously sized lemonades from france that tastes like water and sweetner...not impressed. Also I did not like the pasta salad at all... found it to be sweet and kind of gross however maybe others enjoy it! I will continue to go back and try other items on the menu as I did enjoy my first visit! Read more

The food is always excellent at this restaurant, and they were quite gracious in accommodating our very last minute reservation. The service was disorganized at first, but it got better as the meal proceeded. My only complaint would be on the drink side. Prices on the cocktail menu would be helpful, since there can be huge price swings for the same drink at different restaurants. Also, $55 for a $15 Niagara wine seems like an excessive mark up. I love Indian food and have tried many of the restaurants in India Baazar and missisuaga. A newly-discovered gem of a restaurant for me is Bombay on the lake at 1710 lakeshore road west, clarkson. I work around the area and my colleagues took me to lunch there. I was impressed with the food and service.It's cheaper than most Indian restaurant in clarkson.
