I would recommend staying at the Sand Castle Inn to anyone who wants to experience the true Parksville. This place is close to the beach and is walking distance to the centre of town. The staff is very friendly and is willing to go the extra mile to make your stay a good one. I will definatly stay at the Sand Castle Inn again next summer. Read more

We were in town over a 3 day August holiday weekend, w/o previous reservations, and they managed to fit us in to a room someone else had cancelled. 2 queen beds (we only needed 1) one in a separate bedroom and one in the living space. It was a totally decent place, everyone was really friendly. We were travelling (moving) with cats and I smuggled my kitties in and they kind of turned a blind eye. Besides that everything was clean and professional. You always know what to expect with this chain - reasonable price, clean, everything works. I'd stay here again if I had to stay in Nanaimo and just wanted a good place to sleep (as opposed to a Bed and Breakfast or something). Read more
