My girlfriend and I went up to tobermory ontario a few weeks ago. I have never had such amazing customer service in my entire life. Our server was super kind, funny and made lots of jokes to keep us entertained through our meal. Went there last Tuesday with my sisters for a Birthday lunch. 3 had fish and chips, the best this side of the Atlantic as they claim, and The Fraser's are right, they are. One had liver and onions which are to die for. I had t he open face homemade 8 oz. burger with hand cut homemade fries. Ya gotta wait 20 minutes because it is indeed homemade but it is well worth it. I can't see how anyone who visits this jewel, hidden in the corner of the plaza, would find any fault at all. I stumbled upon Dennis' little oasis about 5 years ago and it has become a weekly ritual. Jerk chicken is to die for. Ox tail is the best I have ever had for sure and the rice and peas stand up to any carribean resaurant in the GTA for sure. I have moved to Calgary and put my family as 1A and the Jerk Pit as 1B as things I miss the most. No Caribbean restaurant out here even compares. Read more
