We go to Gamberoni a few times a year and it's always an amazing experience. Minestrone is the best in town and the seafood platter for two is just perfect - two kinds of fish, shrimp cooked two ways and the best calamari I've ever had. If you want something really special after dessert, ask Mike (the owner) for "his" coffee - it's espresso with some alcohol in it, not sure what kind, but just the perfect end for a perfect night out.

Arrived late, cook had left but as we just left without food, the owner and his wife invited us back in and his chef wife made wonderful chicken Alfredo and done in seemingly minutes. The service was worth the trip alone and the delicious portions filled this 270 pound (123kg) hearty eater. The waiter, Ray, extremely nice and the owner introduced wife after we finished. It's a family run restauant and the owner Roberto used to live in Naples, Italy. It is one of the best italian restaurants that you can find in Toronto.
There are some restaurants in Italy that aren't as good as Roberto's is.
It isn't extremely elegant but it has a good menu for a modest price. When I want to eat authentic Italian cuisine, and not spend a fortune, I go to Roberto's.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. This small place does it right! The food is absolutely excellent, and the wait staff are very helpful with a great attitude. Everyone in our party of six loved their dinners at Positano, plus the price was right, the service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. Being able to bring our own wine was a nice bonus and lessens the impact on the wallet. The other nice thing was that they weren't rushing us out the door the minute we were finished, but allowed us to linger and chat. No wonder the place is packed. A reservation is a must if you want a table at this popular spot.

Wondeful experience. The server was friendly and attentive, the chef also came out to chat when we asked for recommendations. The bruschetta was fantastic as was the tiramisu dessert, but the pizza was by far my favourite part of the experience. Not overloaded with toppings but full of flavour. They also had a good win selection. Highly recommend.

A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance.
