We have tried several different types of food at the Tudor Arms from fish & chips to buttered chicken and appetizers in between. So far the family has enjoyed every dish. We love the half price nights which allows us to try a dish that we may not have tried otherwise. I had dinner at The Black Dog Pub a few days ago and it was a great experience. When you're craving pub fare, this is the perfect place to go. The food is is outstanding and the menu is fairly priced.
The staff was kind and the service was amazing!
I would recommend The Black Dog Pub to anyone whether you're looking for a family night out, a nice date with your partner or just looking to meet friends, you will keep coming back!

As far as pubs in the toronto area there are plenty to find. I had a wonderful experience @ the unicorn pub recently. Our server/bartender Jennifer was extremely friendly and fun for our group. We all felt as though she knew us personally. I know my memory is not great but she remembered all of our names and what we drank and she had never met usbefore. The service was phenomenal. The meals were above average for the price and pub fare. If you are looking for a quaint spot for a gathering book with Jennifer she is far beyond what a typical pub gal usually ranks and I think she should open her own place that smile and gift of gab will take her far......Darren - Toronto
