The athmosphere was warm and fantastic, there was a chansonnier who was singing Madelinot's songs. The service was great and all the waiters were smiley. I took the lobster on Table d'Hôte with the five kinds of salads (my favorites were the Tomato & Cucumber salad and the rice salad) and everything tasted like home made food and was very fresh and delicious. We also had a bottle of Jacobs' Creek (red) which was also very good. This restaurant is definitely worth the detour. we had a great time and it is now one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal! Generally, there are two seatings for dinner. The first time I went,it was late, after the first seating. The food was amazing, the service was great and we really enjoyed our meal. I returned quickly to relive my experience. The second experience was a little less enjoyable.
