There were so many dishes in the buffet that I wasn't able to sample everything. Excellent food and service in a comfortable setting - I will definitely be a repeat customer.
The food is delicious, fresh, ambience is inviting and appropriate for the theme. Highly recommend it

Daawat is located on trendy Whyte Avenue and is a must-go-to place if you are in the area. Like most Indian restaurants in Edmonton, it serves classic North Indian dishes, with a touch of the South and street food. I like their Chai – which is poured from an old fashioned chai pot, and their simple masala dal.

Start with some vegetable pakora – these deep-fried fritters are made with spinach, onion, a special flour blend and spices. Pair them with spicy mint or sweet mango chutney. Add some fish tikka and fire-breathing chicken vindaloo to make it a meal. They also serve a variety of breads, including roti, naan and paratha – leavened bread cooked in a clay oven.
