I was born and raised in Czech Republic and then emigrated to Canada in 1969. While married and raising three children I was engaged in competitive sports as well as teaching aerobics, X-C skiing, gymnastics, and yoga. After studying biology at Capilano College in 1993 I entered the WCCMT in 1994 and graduated in December of 1996. The first few years of my career in massage therapy were spent working closely with two Chiropractors in Vancouver. In 1999 I moved to the Kootenays and joined the Slocan Park Medical Clinic where I had the opportunity to work with many medical professionals. I am constantly expanding my knowledge and skills by regularly engaging in post-graduate studies.
