For a taste of New Westminster’s rich history, take a tour through Irving House, the colonial home of Captain William Irving and one of the oldest heritage sites in the province. Transported back in time more than 140 years, guests of the house will discover the details of daily life in the 1800s, touring through 14 furnished rooms including parlours, dining rooms, and cozy bedrooms, giving way to narratives of mystery and intrigue. Open Saturday and Sunday, Irving House is an ideal weekend activity.
