The original owner was good. The (new guy) took over 7-8 yrs ago. Yes he was abusive when when you did not agree with him.I would not trust him with my products now. The problem is where else can one go to get repairs done now? Especially when you want to be conscientious about what you are throwing away. It is a different world now. People now come from other countries and bring their way of doing business or worse yet do not respect the people in Canada

I am angry about how I was taken advantage of at Morell's. Igor sold me a 35$ cleaning fluid for a $100 expresso machine. I felt suspicious leaving the store, as he also tried to get me to buy a 500$ expresso machine. Once home, I looked more closely at my machine and unscrewed the small plate through which the coffee runs. I cleaned it and voila! My machine works perfectly. He knew! I wish I had never even called to inquire. Their "policy" is no returns--ever. I got yelled at too.
I found Igor good. he fixed my De Longhi Magnifico coffee maker. It was expensive, but it was fixed.
I don't know what people are complaining about, Igor is a nice and smart man. I don't see what is wrong with the fee to get you're vacuum or appliance fixed, that is so nobody can use them I was explained. People would understand the cost of repair because the mechanics need to open it up and realize what is wrong with it. After that a selected few would not go through the repair because of financial issues or it is to expensive. So they would have took time to look at a vacuum, or an appliance, that was not going to be repaired in the first place. When that time could be contributed in a vacuum or an appliance that someone would despritely need a specific date. They offer that to you and always know what you're vacuum is worth because in a little shop you can get deals. Also customer support of the best quality products for vacuums or small appliances they aim for quality and European brands this what Igor explained to me. Whatever they charge for clean up is not worth it to some people but it is if you understand they are trying to keep you're vacuum to last longer then burn out the motor, then you might as well or get a new vacuum. They have long term warrentys on some of the products just ask Igor !
