Food was not hot and my baked potato just tasted weird (how do you mess up a baked pototo???????) Steak tasted ok...ordered it rare but trying to cut it was just plain embarrassing.
Terrible service, server was picking up our plates while we were still eating! had to ask her to bring back our utensils so we could finish our meal, management didn't seem to care. We will never be going back.
Waitress was rude, service was incredibly slow, we were there over an hour and didn't get our meal. Finally we decided to go as we had a movie to catch that was already paid for. As I was speaking to the front desk saying that we were disappointed with the service, then she came to say that our meal is ready. I could say more, but there isn't enough room on here to comment. We will NEVER go back to Kelsey's. I can't comment on the food as we never received any.
Im in love with their spinach dip!! WE usually just go here b4 movies and have appetizers and drinks, and i always leave happy. They have great desserts too! Much better than montanas! Best chicken wings too!! yum!
I don't have many positive things to say about this place unfortunately. Both my boyfriend and I ordered the french onion soup and cheese steak sandwiches. The onion soup was very salty but the worst of it was the fact that some of the onions still had the papery skins left on them! I nearly choked! It really reflected the obvious carelessness of the staff working in the kitchen. Considering the simplicity of our meal, we waited a little long for the main course. The steak sandwiches shouldn't have been called "cheese steak" because I could barely even notice the cheese at all. It was rather dry despite the dipping sauce and most of the shreds of meat just fell out all over the place anyway. I couldn't believe our meal came to over $50. I wouldn't have even visited Kelsey's if I hadn't had a gift card. It definitely wasn't worth it. This kind of meal is easy enough to make at home, so I wouldn't waste my time and money coming here again.
I have to admit I love the spinach dip but, otherwise, Kelsey's food is extremely boring and non-sensational. They've been serving the same food since I started going there in 2002. Now I only go here if we're with other people who like the place.
We were seated and and served quickly. Our waitress was friendly and professional. But there were some big disappointments in what I would call easy to prepare food. Chicken Club Sandwich w/fries came rather cold. The fries were barely warm at best and the Chicken Club Sandwich was dry and lacked any flavor. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich w/fries could be described exactly the same way as the Chicken Club ( Cold and Dry ) It was easy to tell the chicken was prepared earlier in the day and barely reheated. The wings were ordered half mild and half honey garlic. They were the only good part of this meal. I feel Kelsey's kitchen staff needs some serious re-training.
always satisfied with their attempts to provide great service despite how busy they can be. the staff work well together so you don't have to always wait for your own server. hostesses are delightfully pleasant. nice to get to know other regulars and the Cheers theme suits this restaurant
Cracked peppercorn burger did even have peppercorns on it as it was a regular undistinguished burger. The salad was a boring iceberg lettuce. Worst of all the chocolate fudge half-bake was severly overcooked and was actually burnt black. Service was quite mediocre as I asked for water on more than one occasion and it never arrived. Overall extremely disappointing experience. Kelsey's was never this bad when it first opened. I am glad that they called it quits in Quebec. This was overdue.
The server was friendly, she served us quickly, the spinach dip is the best thing I have ever eaten. The food I was looking forward to was not available that evening but other than that it was enjoyable, and they discounted our appetizer for the inconvenience
The waiter was rude, and was unshaven. Very umprofessional looking, it made all of us feel very uncomfortable. The nachos were stale, and there was barely any cheese on them.
My experience at Kelsey's was good, and I was espeically spellbound by the hostess named Danielle W. She presented herself very cheerfully, and sat my party promptly. We accidentally started ordering drinks, and she still remembered our orders and told our server. My chicken wings were very tasty, and my beer was cold. I am so happy to be a customer of Kelsey's, Ancaster.
I'm a regular customer at the Ancaster Ontario Meadowlands. Food and service are nearly always excellent. One occasion I ordered battered fish andd it was WAY overcooked. The manager took care of it and I'm a happy customer.
The food was very good, however, 4 of us ordered the soup and all 4 were luke warm. The wrap was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.
The service was long, the food I ordered was overcooked and had to wait almost half an hour...The atmosphere was okay. Also, our waitor spilled a pina colada on me. I was literally sticky.
