I started my music education at the age of 4 in Kiev, Ukraine. I performed several times on the radio station playing solo. At the age of 12 performed Piano Concerto N 2 by D. Kabalevsky with Ukrainian Philharmonic Orchestra.
I received my performance training and Piano Teacher Diploma at A.M. Gorkiy Pedagogical Institute – faculty of Musical Arts (Kiev, Ukraine).Teaching for more than 28 years, I never stopped learning. My practice is based on different imaginative and joyful ways, which creates a flow in my lessons. I teach little ones (even 2-3 years old). An adult needs much more training than a small child does to reach the same level of ability. My flexible approach is proved to suit each individual child.
I always believe that as a teacher I must have one hundred different ways to explain one single topic. For that reason I am taking pedagogical and professional development courses at the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto):
