Before Len's Mill Stores, there was Norfolk Knitters - a manufacturer of children's clothing in Port Dover, Ontario. Len Menary took over the business from the original 5 owners in 1970, and opened a small outlet store to accompany it. In 1974 heavy industry came to Port Dover, and Norfolk Knitters was unable to remain competitive - but at the urging of his customers, Len focused his attention on the retail business. We're also a proud part of our community - Len's generosity is reflected in community events, particularly the annual Mennonite Relief sale. Our collection is now over 230 quilts with the top one of 2015 bought at $42,000. The quilts are a work of art and are proudly displayed at some of our locations.
Today each Len's Mill Store is a popular destination for quilters, knitters, crafters, and bargain hunters alike. Our fabric and yarn departments are most popular, but shoppers will often pause to look through our selection of clothing, housewares, quirky novelties and even hot sauces.more...See more text
Have found the staff to be quite unfriendly at the Brockley Dr. Store. I thought it was just me but when I asked other people they totally agreed. Staff are never able to answer my questions and I have been ignored on a number of occasions when I have gone up to the desk to ask a question.
Just moved to Burlington from Guelph. Shopped there on Victoria St often. Love sewing and knitting. Wish you would open an outlet in Burlington. It is a big city.
