My family and I took some friends visiting from Ottawa out to dinner to our favorite place, and I must say that the meal was excellent. The prices are a little high, but reasonable considering the quality of the food. The restaurant itself isn't that large, but gets filled on weekends. I actually took my in-laws to be here for my engagement celebration. My father in-law mentioned it to all of his professor colleagues where we had been for dinner.
Sashimi and sushi platter, with salad, tea and dessert. The food was great, the prices are reasonable for what you are getting. Why anyone would want an all you can eat sushi, is beyond me. You get what you pay for at buffets and all you can eats...for sushi.
Oh and for all you folks who like teriyaki chicken or beef...come on try something new for a change. Otherwise, you better head to your local Canadian chinese restaurant for egg rolls and chicken balls. Trust me when I say that these sorts of food were only made for the locals who think it's authentic asian cuisine.
So to sum up Shiki is one of, if not the best Japanese restaurants in London.

This is the best Sushi restaurant our family has found - including GTA restaurants. The food quality and freshness is excellent. The variety on sampling dishes like the 'Sashimi boats' is very large, especially compared to other Japanese restaurants. Our family will definitely be visiting Shiki again - as many times as possible!

If you want authentic Japanese food this is the place to go. The best Sashimi in town...really fresh! You must try their authentic, homemade ginger salada dressing. Its soooo yummy!
