    Absolutely disgusting customer service. Lorex does not care about their customers in the slightest degree. 50+ emails, 6 phone calls not one single apology even after we determined they were at fault. They will not accept or acknowledge their mistakes as they have no intentions of owning them. Customer service was so disrespectful, they would give no explanations, honestly they wont do anything for you once they have your money.

    I have bought close to 5 grand worth of Lorex surveillance gear since September both from amazon and from Lorex directly , My PTZ outdoor camera went out after 3 months in a snow shower. When i went to customer service to get a repair or replacement I am told it needed to be under a shelter and the warranty is void IP 66 is supposed to be proof against any blowing water or debris, The camera either doesn't meet these standards or Lorex is trying to con me out of my warranty claim

    Lorex is now owned by Dahua Technology , being a long time user of multiple devices for many years I must say the value of these systems is very good. Tech support is great , not sure why all the bad reviews. I have owned lorex systems since 2007 and have many other brands including nest and Eufy. Nest is good for person detection with no false alarms, Lorex is good for full time recording and as a back up . Their person detection needs some playing with to reduce false alarms & no cloud fees.

    Worst customer service and technical support it has ever been my misfortune to endure. Will Never purchase anything from Lorex again! Five calls over 3 hours on the phone,all to confirm MY information of a defective camera (brand new on Oct 6 2021)and then expect me to pay for a return shipping container! Returned entire purchase for a full refund from the retailer. Avoid Lorex tech and customer service, they are dismal failures.

    Don’t waste your money, when it breaks down and it will they want you to send them the equipment and will take up to 3 weeks to get a replacement.. kind of beats the purpose of having a security cameras especially when you purchased extended warranty, and nave no security cameras for 3 weeks. Lorex should send you a replacement and then you send them the defective one, this way your never down and have security at all times. And service up to 5 days for a reply

    worst customer tecnical EVER. 40 minutes spent just to get name, email and id number on cameras. the next 1.5 hour to repeat the same thing. Asking for manager but no avail waiting for the next level (after the next level) to call 1 or 2 hour, they never did. Called back 3 hours later and found out have to wait 2 or 3 days for them to fix the problem. The problem just to reset the email address and get a new activation code. Returning this for sure. Unbelievable.

    Bought system and worked fine until they changed their app, does not work repeated crashes,no response or fixes form Lorex,main frame shows different hour scenes form present time (ex night scene during day until you reboot (no a fix when you have to do VERY VERY upgrade of app and total lack of support, other reviews on net poor

    Very low quality customer service 1. Low attention to detail, organization problems, and communication issues. 2. Very long hold times: 2 1/2 hour hold wait. Then call is dropped. What a shame. I can’t use this product because they are not capable of supporting it! This company has lost my trust. I do NOT recommend the purchase of Lorex products to anybody.

    Do yourself a favour and find another security camera dealer. While this company has good product and good prices they have got to be the worse company I have ever dealt with. Not uncommon to be on hold for 30 minutes and then the person who answers the phone cant speak English or cant help you. Don't walk away run.

    This company is a disaster! Long series of insults, bait & switch, ridiculous excuses. Be prepared for a long frustrating ride. Customer service queue is always over 35 minutes, only to speak with a person who has no authority to solve issues. They sell merchandise which they do not have. When it does not show up when promised, they never advise. It is up to you to discover. Then, bait & switch starts. Customers not allowed to talk to supervisor. You are nuts if you buy from them. Stay away!

    HEADS UP IF YOU HAVE A ROGERS CELL YOU CANT RECEIVE MOBILE VIEWING! GREAT PRODUCTS! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Ive been trying to call and as a ***LOREX DEALER*** this is unacceptable! Amateur work for any company. Ismail we are still WAITING FOR YOUR CALL!!!!

    Everything was easy and I got exactly what was needed. I was at first pretty uneasy purchasing security system but once I saw from Lorex how simple it was to install- well, I am on board. Quality was exceptional and the site has some much info you can get lost in it (in a good way).

    I had to file a claim with PayPal and wait 30 days for a refund on an online order that was cancelled immediately. I would’ve never got my money back unless PayPal protected it. Feel free to contact me for more information on what a terrible experience it was
