The Bad Boy phenomenon began in 1955, when Mel Lastman opened his first Bad Boy store on Weston Road. Mel's branded message stated that Bad Boy was 'the place to shop' because of its great pricing and excellent service. Mel instantly became a legend in Toronto with his creative publicity stunts such as, selling two-dollar bills for one dollar – coined as the 'best two-for-one deal you could find'. While purchasing a bedroom set the sales LADY recommended both a mattress and box spring. When my set arrived the mattress was too high with the box spring she suggested .I called and was told Irequired a low profile box spring
I enquired as to why as a sales person she was not aware that the box spring she suggested required a special box spring.
The sales Lady rudely stated I dont keep track of everyones order and suggested I pay for redelivery as she was KINDLY doing me a FAVOUR and hung up
I have never been so fed up with a company as I am with Bad Boys. Purchased a fridge which they deliveried plugged it in the light worked then the lights started flashing and the bottom part never got cold. Will its been a month and still getting the run around. Finally Bad Boys said they would replace the fridge but said they don't have any in stock. I've been left on the phone acouple of times for over 20 minutes waiting for someone to let me know if their shipment has arrived. Never again
As it is in its name, Bad boys furniture store at the Dundas branch is NOT SATISFACTORY. This is because during the sale they tell us about a wonderful warranty and guarantee but when we go back to get something replaced there are many terms and conditions, which they never mention to us. I don't recommend this store at all but if you go I recommend going through the warranty section very thoroughly. Thank you.
