The worse customer service EVER. I regret doing business with them after first interaction that we had yesterday.
Been using this company since I started my business 7 years ago. I have had no problems other than some emailing issues once in a while with settlement reports and was resolved quickly and completely with a phone call. I had a machine brick during an update, my service rep drove 4 hours and installed a new machine for me that day, I had near zero interruption in service. I have been trouble free compared to some of the others around me using various other providers.
I would rate them -100 based on the very poor customer service and ability to get resolution from the security department. Held up $275 K in my funds with no information as to why and spent two weeks and hours on the phone trying to get resolution. Very very poor financial partner.
This outfit is a front for a US operation. My experience is that their equipment fails connectivity and their rates are not competitive. First Data does not respect the Code of Conduct for the Credit and Debit Card Industry in Canada in my experience, likely because they are outside of Canada. They have a non-arms length US-based leasing company for their equipment. Their customer service is confrontational. Be wary!

Horrible merchant services...when it comes to dispute activities, this company cannot not do much but just charge small business back to refund the customer money (when its the customers who are claiming a non-fraud transactions). There is no protection what so ever from this Merchant company and we pay them so much monthly fees that they gauged from us small business. Worst Rake of a Merchant company ever. Their fees goes up all the time, just like all other merchants..THEY SHOULD PROTECT US!
Really low rates compaired to Moneris and TD. Rental equiment with no pci fees a big bonus would reccomend
Terrible company. This is a worst service provider I ever dealt with. We order a Credit card machine they never sent it to us but their leasing department started charging us monthly lease.
