One of Pickering’s most historic restaurants, Massey’s, has been open since 1965. A family business since it opened, Massey’s has grown from a small take-out burger joint to a full restaurant.

“My father started the restaurant,” says current owner Don Argiro. “I’ve worked here on-and-off since I was a kid, and now my kids work here too. It’s a true family business.”

Offering traditional Canadian food, Massey’s is famous for its burgers and sandwiches. “From steaks and sandwiches to the perfect burger, we have something hearty and delicious for whatever you’re craving.”

This restaurant makes home made food, where you can really taste the difference. The server was exceptionnal and appeared extremelly proud of this familly owned restaurant. It was a very quiet atmosphere, which made it enjoyable to appreciate your meal.

A very good neighbourhood restaurant with a great selection on their menu. Their comfortable atmosphere makes it a great place to relax or to meet people before going out. They also have a take out option so you can enjooy their great food at home.

I don't know what everyone is going on about...

I don't know what everyone is going on about... this is a site to review the restaurant NOT the management. Anyway, my husband and I have been going to Masey's for a number of years. We have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere ect. Unfortunately the last few times we've gone we've been very disappointed. The service was slow, the food wasn't very good. I always order the onion soup from there.. it's one of my favourites. The last few times I've had it it's been awful. Everytime we go it tastes more and more like "Liptons onion soup in a box" We will probably try this restaurant again but if it's still bad we will definitly stop going there.
