Our Story... On a trip to visit my sister in Traverse City, she introduced my husband and I to a store that sold Extra Virgin Olive Oils and Balsamic vinegars. We had never been to a store quite like it and found the shopping experience very unique. We were able to sample each oil and vinegar before making a purchase and the taste and flavours were amazing. We purchased some oil and vinegars on that trip and continued to purchase products each time we visited my sister. If she was coming to see us, we always had a list of products we wanted her to bring. After introducing it our friends and co-workers, they too had their favourites. In the spring of 2011, while enjoying a salad with the oils and vinegars I had purchased, I noticed the supplier's contact information and decided to give them a call. I ended up talking to the CEO of the company for about an hour and 6 pages of notes later we were on a mission to find that perfect location for a store. We have found that spot in Stratford, Ontario, known for its world renowned culinary school, many fine restaurants not to mention the Shakespeare Festival and the positive community spirit that is alive and thriving in Stratford. more...
