Excellent food, waiter picked great choice of wine, the best homemade pasta in the world. Cannot wait to go back. They make great steaks too, but the pasta, so so good.
Head cook went outside and didn't wash his hands when he got back, servers kept walking in and out the door. Had to ask for our wine after like 15 minutes -- it was not busy at all! Our server didn't make us feel like we mattered and paying that amount we should matter. Nothing like Bistro. Owner was very nice, but I think he should review his service staff.
Took some friends from out of town....very dissapointed. Meal was just ok...service was terrible, I think they should either go back to their old ways with the menu being described by the waiter and bring back the old chefs. And what is it that we cant have more bread???? Won't be back...
Giorg's WAS out of this world & a top notch dining experience since day one with a very gifted and talented chef. We craved the food and couldn't wait to go back. Not so anymore. Either they don't care, or "just don't have it". A real shame, as following recipes is not that difficult. We have lost the best restaurant we had. I sure hope they will stop making excuses and turn it around. Thunder Bay deserves yet really lacks quality dining. We need the original Giorg's back.
I'm not sure what all the raving is about. The food was not as good as I cook at home.
Nice atmosphere... waited way too long for our meal, and it's WAY TOO LOUD IN THERE!!!
