Down the drain.

My husband and I envited uor friends who were visiting us to il postino.We first went for a stroll to the festival and then we had reservation at their restaurant.As soon as we got there I knew that something was wrong.No greeting at the door,and it took the hostess 10 minutes to sit us down even thoug it wasn't very busy.The food to say the least was cold and the salad had sand in it.No flavour what so ever.Service was very bad.I felt ashamed to have chosed this place.By the way prices are very expensive.

Arrabiata was quite good. I though the Oso Bucco presentation was nice but it needed something to bring out the flavour a little more.

When we got to the restaurant we had to sit ourselves because the service staff was too busy chatting about their love life.Our waitress whom I think was the so called manager was arrogant.The food was of poor quality and the salads were a bit sandy.We actually wanted to leave but earlier during the day we wanted to make a reservation at another restaurant in the area but they could not accomodate us because they were full.Anyhow,I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE .

The service was horrible and unacceptable. First of all, the restaurant impolitely told us to leave and return to the restaurant when the entire party showed up. Then, it took forever for the server to take our orders. After 30 minutes, the server returned and said that only one of the daily special was avaialble. Therefore, 2 of my friends ordered another dish. Another 15-20 minutes passed, the server returned and reported that the chef "accidentally" dropped the last daily speical onto the floor. So my friend had to order another dish. After almost 1.5 hour, the food finally arrived. The pasta was slightly above average, but over priced. The portion was small, and the pasta has too much oil. Finally, what angry me most is that the restaurant dropped my birthday cake, and lied about it. When the server brought the cake to me, the chocolate card with greetings was missing and replaced with plenty of berries. The cake was a deformed hexagon. When my friend inquired about the situation, the server insisted that the cake arrived in such condition. (My friend was holding the cake on her lap during the entire ride.) The server said that we should be "thankful" that the restaruant "repair" the cake. It was for sure one memorable birthday!

Worst food I have ever had.Small portions with a few ingredients w/ no taste.Service was pathetic.Worst New Year's Eve dinner.We went home hungry!!Prices were exorbitant.I am still upset thinking about it!!BAD,BAD,BAD!
