Yummy Asia Restaurant

Worst meal I've ever had. Had to ask for plates and utensils. When they brought the plate it was a saucer. Meal was all messed up. Got main meal first then soup then egg rolls. Chicken balls were not entirely cooked. We took one spoonful of each and we left the whole meal. No sorry no nothing. Had to pay for the whole meal. Horrible service. Never again.

First time here it was fantastic my new favorite

So glad to see the new owners creating the same awesome food that Osaka had. Awesome quality and they have more to offer than the previous owners. Great service and awesome pricing! If anyone writes a bad review, it's because they don't know what good quality sushi is ;)

Was hoping for better

We were really hoping that Yummy Asia was going to be good in Woodstock's culinary wasteland. The vast menus (a la carte or all you can eat?) was an indication of confusion as to what kind of restaurant this actually is. Green tea was served luke warm (not in a pot), the onions in the chicken fried rice were raw but the chicken balls were good despite requiring a knife to cut which were not on table. Timing of the food was poor, portions were good but not worth the money that was charged.

THE place for sushi/sashimi in southern Ontario

I travel extensively throughout southern Ontario and love sushi and this place is my new favourite. The sushi & sashimi are very fresh and beautifully presented and the tempura is great; light and crispy and never greasy. The prices are very reasonable for the quality on offer and the staff are very efficient and friendly.
