Rooms not made up; plugged toilets they didn't fix, with no offer of another room;coffeemaker not cleaned of old filters; brown marks on towels; no WiFi; Continental breakfast a joke (tea bags with no hot water, no peanut butter or honey, etc).

KINGFISHER INN RUINED PARENTS 50TH ANNIVERSARY

Horrible, Never stay there. We had booked the Four Seasons Cabin at Wapiti (owned and bookings taken by Kingfisher Inn) and no one showed up to let us in. We waited for hours and no one at the hotel knew what to do. So finally after hours of waiting with no place to sleep they said to come into the Kingfisher inn (a 45 minute drive) and they would put us up for free. so 7 of us were supposed supposed to stay in the cabin, and we got our rooms, we stayed the night and waited for a couple hours in the morning to see if the manager would let us know if we could get into the cabin. She never showed up! So we took my parents back out to the campsite to visit with the family that they don't see often. Then back to Kingfisher inn, as no one showed up the second day to let us into the cabin we booked. When we checked out after the second night we were told that the rooms were not free and yelled at by the mananger! we were treated horribly, We ended up paying more for the rooms than it would have been at the cabin, plus we spent the weekend away from our family, and had to buy food because our food was rotting in our vehicles. NEVER STAY HERE THEY DON"T KNOW HOW TO RUN A HOTEL OR TREAT GUESTS! THE KINGFISHER INN RUINED MY PARENTS 50TH ANNIVERSARY! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!

We have stayed at the Kingfisher several times as it has a handy location to other restaurants and services. The rooms are average but good food service in the restaurant. The attached bar is convenient so one does not have to drive afterwards. A major problem we encountered this week is a booking error. We had booked rooms for 20 people (10 rooms) several months ago. My credit card number was taken and we were told everything would be fine. Today, less than 4 days of when we are supposed to arrive for our corporate retreat, the hotel called and stated all of our rooms were cancelled due to a computer problem that had deleted our booking and they have no rooms available for us on the chosen dates but would happily take us at another date. Somehow they still had my name, phone number and number of rooms we had booked. Calling them back, I was given a different story that they had overbooked and given our rooms to someone else. Either way, the story sounded fishy and they stated it was a management decision to give our rooms to someone else. If you book with this place, ensure your bookings are still on their system by checking weekly if not daily. Their attitude was not very helpful nor apologetic. We have never had a problem here and have been invited back. Not sure if we will book ever again.
